Sue will carefully design a self-care strategy to support you to enhance and heal your body, mind and emotional health moving you towards optimal wellness and helping you find peace of mind.
Yoga therapy is a complementary therapy which means you can continue with your existing medical treatment and if necessary, with your permission, Sue may liaise with your team of health professionals.
Yoga therapy may incorporate breathing practices, mindfulness, physical movements and postures, meditation, mudras, mantra and restorative postures.
Yoga therapy can help you with:

Yoga therapy is for every body regardless of age or gender. No prior yoga experience is needed.
Initial consultation includes comprehensive assessment, individually designed home practice and relaxation recording $140 for 1.5 hours.
Following consultations $80 per hour.
Pre-paid in advance for initial consultation and two follow-up consultations $240 (total 3.5 hours) – a saving of $60.

One of the many benefits of yoga is developing an awareness of the effects of stress in our lives, and the skills with which to manage them, therefore reducing mental and physical stress and tension. Yoga also promotes self care and mindfulness, is low impact, improves strength and flexibility and builds concentration.
Regular practice is known to bring improved health in mind and body, increased energy, well-being, productivity and morale. These benefits naturally extend from the individual participant to the work environment.
For some workplaces, especially office environments, there is a great need for moving the body physically after experiencing long hours sitting at a desk. Some common complaints from office workers include sore lower back and tense shoulders. Yoga also helps move, strengthen and stretch the body and can improve posture.
Previously having worked in a corporate environment I appreciate how busy life can become and the benefits of incorporating yoga into a weekly routine and way of life.
I design class programs to suit individual workplaces. Classes can be run on an ongoing basis or for a one off period of time (eg. 6 to 8 weeks).
An example – weekly yoga and relaxation classes, one hour in duration. Classes style gentle in nature, suitable for every body and can be modified for different skill levels and abilities.
Requirements – a room large enough to accommodate participants, with each participant supplying their own yoga mat.

Group Yoga Classes are aimed to offer a nourishing, refreshing, inspiring and self-sustaining experience. Combining the ancient insights of yoga and her many years experience in the field of movement, Sue’s classes are a unique blend of yoga, pilates and somatics including movement, relaxation techniques, postures, stretches, breathing practices, energy awareness and meditation.
Monday 3.30pm – 5.00pm Yoga
Thursday 6.30am – 7.45am Yoga
Saturday 7am – 8.30am Yoga
Saturday 9am – 10.30am Gentle Yoga
Fee $17 per class or pre pay $140 for 10 classes or pre pay $75 for 5 classes – valid for 3 months.
Location – Kahuna Mist, Shop 2, 38 Reef Street, Gympie . All mats and props are provided, just bring your self.
I am also available to teach group classes in your home, workplace or other suitable location. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this further. I am also available for one-off group yoga classes.
Breath Awareness & Core Strengthening Class 4 week course
Small intimate group of 4 people per class.
During this 4 week course you will learn the fundamentals of breath and core awareness for movement, strengthening, stabilising and stretching and put these into practice. Each 1 hour class incorporates 15 minutes relaxation.
Suitable for beginners and individuals seeking to improve their pelvic floor and core strength.
You can improve core awareness, strength and stability at any stage in your life.
$80 paid in advance – booking required.
